Simply English, headquartered in Hanoi, is a growing online English academy that provides classes for both children and adults. The academy focuses on offering interesting and complete English learning experiences, with small class sizes of 1-4 individuals to provide individual attention. Simply English values a neutral English accent and accepts teachers from all nationalities with at least one year of teaching experience and a TEFL/TESOL certificate. Teachers must be flexible with their schedules, as lessons are often held in the evenings (Vietnam time) and on weekends.
As a part-time online teacher at Simply English, you'll be teaching both children (aged 7-12) and adults through Zoom, with teaching materials provided. The center offers competitive pay rates ranging from 180,000 to 300,000 VND per hour, depending on your experience. Teachers also benefit from a professional environment and support tools like a licensed Zoom account and a Vietnamese phone number for communication via Zalo. - Delivering High-Quality classes: Providing entertaining and successful English classes tailored to each learner's specific requirements, whether for business, general, or specialized English.
- Preparing for lessons: Using available materials and tailoring content to meet the student's language proficiency and goals.
- Managing the virtual classroom: Creating a happy and orderly learning environment, keeping students engaged, and handling any technical issues that emerge.
- Tracking Progress: Entails monitoring and measuring student progress, providing comments, and adjusting teachings to promote ongoing improvement.
- Collaboration: Involves working closely with the Simply English team to ensure that the learning experience satisfies the company's high educational quality requirements.
Additional Requirements
- Flexible Hours.
- Based anywhere in the world, as long as you can commit to teaching according to the Vietnam time zone (Mostly from 7pm-9:30pm weekdays) and weekends
Educational Requirements
- A neutral accent is a MUST. We accept any nationality as long as you have a neutral English accent.
- At least one year of experience teaching kids and adults online
- Own a Tesol/Tefl certificate. ( Get Level 2 TEFL Certified ).
- Be responsible, responsive and committed
- Preferably older than 23 years of age
